Las Nuevas Tamaleras

About this event

San Antonio's beloved bilingual holiday play Las Nuevas Tamaleras returns to the Jo Long Theatre at the Carver Community Cultural Center from December 3 through December 6, 2026. Written and directed by Alicia Mena, this comical Christmas tradition follows Silvia, Josie, and Patsy making tamales for the first time alongside the feuding spirits of Doña Mercedes and Doña Juanita.
