The 2026 Coastal Bend Tree Conference, hosted by Daisy Castillo of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, covers pesticide rules and regulations, pecan tree establishment and management, fruit tree selection and management, tree planting practices, and identification and management of common tree diseases and insect pests in the Coastal Bend. Featured speakers include Elizabeth Prokop (Texas Department of Agriculture), Larry Stein and Tim Hartmann (Texas A&M AgriLife Extension), Bill Green (Texas A&M Forest Service), and Stephanie Adams. Five CEUs are available; $50 in-person (lunch included) or $35 online via Teams.
