Planes and Trains Guided Tour

The Planes & Trains Guided Tour is a three-part, three-hour guided experience offered most Saturday mornings. It starts 150 feet up at the Grapevine Main Observation Tower, with views of Historic Main Street, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad depot and DFW International Airport, followed by a stroll through Peace Plaza and the 1888 Cotton Belt Train Depot. Part two is an excursion aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, and part three is a shuttle ride down Historic Main Street to Founders Plaza to watch planes take off and land. Check in at 9:30 a.m. at the Visitor Information Center inside Grapevine Main Station, 815 S. Main St. Tickets are $22, with reservations purchased online in advance.
