Musical: Annie

About this event

The historic Bastrop Opera House is performing the musical Annie for four weekends in December 2026 in Bastrop, Texas. Set in New York City during the Great Depression, Annie follows a fiercely optimistic orphan who refuses to give up on finding her parents — or a better life. When billionaire Oliver Warbucks takes her in for the holidays, neither of them expects how much the other will change them. With some of the most recognizable songs in musical theater history, it’s a story about hope that feels just right at Christmastime. Don’t miss the magic — this one is going to light up the stage.
