Step back in time with a nostalgic ride on Grapevine Vintage Railroad! This 90-minute excursion departs from the Historic Cotton Belt Depot in Grapevine. This train excursion features ambiance with coaches from the 1920s, engaging onboard entertainment and a relaxed way to enjoy the charm and heritage of vintage Texas rail travel rooted in history and character. Concessions are available for purchase onboard. Don’t let your day in Grapevine end with the train ride! Explore Grapevine’s rich history along Historic Main Street and visit unique shops, restaurants and other cultural attractions. CURRENT SCHEDULE Most Saturdays from February through May and August through November.The Bear Creek Excursion will not run in June and July, as Dinos on the Tracks will run in its place. EXCURSION SCHEDULEBoarding: 10:20 a.m.Train doors close: 10:35 a.m.Departs Grapevine: 10:40 a.m.Arrives in Grapevine: 12:10 p.m. CLASSES OF SERVICE:First Class: $14Coaches are climate-controlled with embroidered upholstered seats.Touring Class: $12These coaches have floor-to-ceiling windows with padded bench-style seats and are climate-controlled for year-round comfort. A ticket must be purchased for all passengers who have celebrated their 4th birthday. Children who haven’t celebrated their 4th birthday get complimentary admission, but must ride in an adult’s lap. Strollers and car seats are not allowed on board for the Bear Creek Excursion. It is recommended to leave strollers in cars, but some can be left on the platform at a passenger's risk. No outside food or drinks are allowed. Please present your email confirmation at the ticket window to receive your tickets. Tickets are non-refundable. A 3% Reimbursement Service Fee will be added to all Grapevine Vintage Railroad ticket purchases. This excursion does not travel to the Historic Stockyards. Grapevine Vintage Railroad (GVRR) online ticket sales end at 8:30 a.m. before each day's excursion. Tickets may be available at the ticket booth on the day of the excursion, but availability is not guaranteed. It is recommended to call 817.410.3185 to verify availability if you are looking to purchase same-day tickets. GVRR makes every attempt to adhere to the posted schedules. However, GVRR cannot guarantee arrival times due to sharing rails with TEXRail, Freight Trains and Amtrak. Delays or cancellations may also occur due to emergency track maintenance.
