Biting Happens: What to Do When Toddlers Bite

SMART Family Literacy presents Biting Happens: What to Do When Toddlers Bite, a 3-clock-hour instructor-led training for child care teachers and directors, on Saturday, January 9, 2027, from 9 AM to 12 noon (doors 8:45 AM) at the Vera Bell Gary Family Support Center, 1727 Bayou Rd, La Marque. Attendees learn why young children bite, what to do in the moment, how to help both children and how to talk with families, with guidance on writing a center biting policy. Includes a certificate of completion (TECPDS clock hours), free children's books, coffee and breakfast snacks. $20 per person, limited to 50 participants; instruction in English with Spanish subtitles.
